The second day, just as thrilling as the previous one, ended in draws at the two tournament venues in the country of Ceiba.
In Mongomo, Panthers and Fauves Cadets separated on a parity score in a highly duel between felines. CAR opened the scoring with captain Florencia Solange Yamale from the penalty spot before Gabon equalized on an action well orchestrated by Vanessa Mazaly.
Special mention to the two goalkeepers Somboya Bénédicte from CAR and Koumea Chimera from Gabon who by their class stops were able to keep their team alive. Gabon records its first point of the tournament and RCA has 2 pts in two matches.
In Ebibeyin, the host country – Equatorial Guinea – was held by the DRC to a 1-1 draw.
