24-year-old Cameroonian basketball player Tia Weledji signs for Extremadure Miralvalle Plasencia in Spain.

A new challenge for the 78-meter-tall player who represented Cameroon at Afrobasket 2017 and at the Games of La Francophonie (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) the same year.
His previous international stop was with the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters in the UK WBBL. Weledji also went through Caldeonia Pride. She helped her team make it to the Scottish Cup final in 2019 and also won the Eurobasket.com All-English WBBL Honorable Mention.
The former Tiger ended her Princeton career with two Ivy League titles and three NCAA tournament appearances. She took part in 109 games, for 28 starts. She averaged a record 6.9 points per game in 2017-18, as the Tigers won the conference crown and the Ivy League tournament championship. In his final season, Weledji achieved a personal best 44.6% in-game baskets and 80.8% from the free throw line. She also got 20 rebounds and added 35 assists.
