The Fecafoot technical center based in Odza hosted this morning the first match of the women’s football championship edition 2018 after long months of truce. Social Football Filles of Mbam wins 4-1 over Eclair Filles of Sa’a.
The symposium on women’s football in Africa seems to have brought interesting decisions. The Cameroon Football Federation through its standardization committee officially launched the first division championship of women’s football. This Sunday morning from 11 am, the players of Social Football Filles of Mbam met those of Eclair Filles of Sa’a in opening match of the 2018 edition.
Kevine Ossol scored twice.
The Mbam girls opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a goal from Kevine Ossol. In the 26th minute, it is Xaverie Eteme’s turn to shine by increasing the bet (2-0). Kevine Ossol won again in front of Sa’a Eclair’s goals to ensure a 3-0 score in the 33rd minute. It’s with the same score that both teams will go on break.
Back from the break, the pace remains the same. The Mbam Social players are far superior to their Sa’a Eclair counterparts. The only realization of Eclair Girls Sa’a is signed by Kathza-Bengon (52 ‘). Dorothée Mbe put the fourth goal of Social. 4-1 is the score at the end of an intense and muffled match full of opportunities on both sides.
This meeting is the only one scheduled this Sunday. The other matches of the first day of the women’s football championship will take place on Wednesday, March 21st.
