Beatrice Chepkoech won the 1500m event on tuesday night. The Kenyan athlete paced the race track at the PSD Bank Meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The IAAF World Indoor Tour is still going on. After Karlsruhe on February 3rd, yesterday another German city was hosting athletes from all over the world. Kenya particularly stood out from the other countries in the 1500m, one of its favorite disciplines. At the start of the 1500m final, four Kenyans were present and they did not disappoint.

Beatrice Chepkoech took first place in the race in 4: 04.21. The podium was completed by the Polish Angelika Cichoka and another Kenyan Winny Chebet. Josphine Chelangat Kiplangat and Nelly Jepkosgei both from Kenya finished in 6th and 8th place respectively.
